Startup "Runtime Error" problem with C++

Hi all,

Whilst I had PCSX2 work on my pc, it is not working on my laptop. 
Specs:

Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-4310U CPU @ 2.00GHz 2.59GHz
RAM: 8.00GB (7.90 GB usable)
System: 64-bit Operating System / x64 based processor
Graphics card: Intel® HD Graphics Family
Over 140GB free on (C

The problem I get is when I startup, the ISO works just fine however it shows this:

Runtime Error!

Program:

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. 
Please contact the application's support team for more information. 

I've tried most methods of fixing this, reinstalling, updating DX, clean boot, etc

Oh yeah and I've tried using the GSNull plugin; and whilst it does play the menu music no window seems to come up.
