Static Sound
#1
While playing the Simpsons Game I noticed that while the audio was mostly fine, there was a noticeable static sound. I messed with the latency and volume, played with the mixing and output settings and even changed Synchronization mode and nothing worked. Any help
Current Settings
Interpolation: Catmull-Rom
Module: X-Audio 2
Use The De-alias filter checked (Was originally unchecked)
Volume: 100%
Latency: 150% (Was originally 100%)
Synchronizing mode: Async
Audio-Expansion Mode: Stereo
Don't worry about it being slow it's just my screen recorder. Also keep it mind it's louder for me

To me it looks like the issue is caused by emulation slowdown.

In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.
  • Your hardware specs - CPU, Graphics Card, Memory, Operating System.
  • The version of PCSX2 you are using.
  • Any non default settings you are using, such as speed hacks or presets.
  • Your GSdx graphics settings (a picture of the settings dialog is preferred)
  • What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.

Thank You.

Okay here's everything. The version is 1.4.0 and The Simpsons Game is an iso

Your cpu (1152 STR) is below the minimum STR requirement which is 1600.

On another note 1.4 is severely outdated.

Latest dev builds

Also enabling mtvu speedhack might help you a little but don't expect miracles.
