Good evening, I am having issues making casstlevania(lament or curse) play stably no matter what settings I mess with,does anyone have any advice?
OS:windows 8.1
intel i7-4700mq(mobile processor on laptop),2.4ghz with 3.4 at turbo,quad core with hyperthreading
Nvidia gtx 770M(3gb of vram)
16gb ddr3 RAM
750gb HDD at 7200rpm

Update your Drivers. The 8.1 Update deletes all you Drivers.

what should I put the graphics settings too? when standing still or just walking around I get anywhere from 30-62 fps(combat drops to 30 consistantly instead of randomly) and when I open task manager it says my cpu is only bohtering to put out .7ghz. Thank you for the help

Make sure that your power plan is set to "High Performance."

That's most likely why your CPU is not at full speed.

trying to get goblet of fire (pal) working on My emulator atm these are my PC specs

As you can see from the compatibility list it should be playable but for some reason mine stays under 25fps and its being slow as hell

heres my PSX2 Options used aswell for easier "problem fixing"
Default options on :
EE/IOP
Vut
GS
GS-Windows (Fit to screen only changed)
Speedchanges has been addded to default (added mark on microVU1)
and gamefixes disabled

thx in advance and hopefully well get something out of this!

sure, your PC should play most games near full speed.

hmm its quite odd then . Maybe theres still something wrong with it or maybe its just becos im using PAL version of the CD .
as the one who tested it was with USA version (apparently can't get my hands on that one) and to begin with why i even bough PAL version was so i could play it with Finnish dubs =)

Saiki's guide is probably your best option.

but you won't get far with that weak machine

Im interested in playing Shaddow of the Colossous, can i play it smoothly and how far can i upscale it? (ive seen some vids on amazing settings and i managed to play FFX looking a lot better, altough i dont exactly remember how i did it lol)
