Is there a hope to play KHII?

You mean a Pentium E5200, not E2500. PassMark gives that CPU a 1018 STR, while we usually recommend a minimum of 1500. You could try some speedhacks to see if you can get the game running at full speed but I seriously doubt you'll get it.

Your best bet would be to spend $335-$340 and get yourself a nice emulation PC:

Hello everybody. I've read in the first post that laptops are not recommended for emulating. However, since mine has a quite decent processor, I would like to know your opininions. It's a Toshiba Satellite R630, and in the following link there are listed all the specs:

Will I be able to play at a comfortable speed?

No, unfortunately. The CPU is too weak. It has a single threaded around 950, you need about 1600 for most games.

My question is similar to what most ask, but not exactly the same.

You see, I intend to purchase a new desktop computer, but I'm not sure whether I should wait for Skylake or not.

My question is this: which PS2 games do NOT run at full speed on an i5 4690(K) stock? Assuming, of course, that the graphics card is too fast to be a bottleneck in any way.

I'm not asking for a full list of course, just whatever you guys/girls can remember off the top of your heads.

Jak II/III, Ratchet and Clank series, Sly Cooper, and a few others. Honestly, I wouldn't bother waiting a year. The current Haswell chips are great for PCSX2, especially when overclocked.

Thanks.

Are those software mode-requiring titles?

What I've heard of Skylake says that the first desktop models are coming out in August, which is why I was willing to wait.

some graphical glitches need software mode to be rendered properly. though you really don't need the new skylake for playing PCSX2 well, the Haswell are quite enough for most demanding games without any cycle hacks.

Though, the skylake might still perform better than the Haswell processors.

Yeah, those all do. Honestly, if I were you, I would just build my own PC right now.

All right then, I'll forget about Skylake. I still will probably wait for AMD 370/380 graphics models, though - as long as they come out before July and at competitive prices.

Yeah, I'm actually waiting for the 390x myself.
