Well if your using the PAL version, then your out of luck. You never really said which version your using, and you never listened to jesalvein which would give that info and more.
I played and set up the NTSC version. If your using the PAL version and those settings don't fix the vertical lines, I don't have any recommendation for the vertical lines like in your first screenshot except maybe play with texture offset in hardware hack. Try setting both X and Y to about 370 or so as a starting point, then raise and lower until you get something acceptable. Do this as a last resort.
I say either get the NTSC version, play in software mode, or do what jasalvein asked so more information than you are giving is available for us.
If your using the pcsx2 version 1.6.0, the game is NTSC, and you made settings exactly as I said, then you have a problem because it works for me and my friend with those settings.
