Strangle Lights+Doubled sprites(Fixed) Vertical stripes(Not Fixed)
#1
Hello, recently started playing Tales of the Abyss(pretty good game btw.) and there's 2 main problems that I have:

1) Strange lights which looks like squares(really annoying)...

Solution:
- Tick "Alpha" in HW Hacks on Ryudo GSDx version.

2) Don't know how to call it, but it looks like sometimes I'm getting doubled characters/objects.. It occurs sometimes.

Solution:
- Ryudo post

My PC specs:
- Intel Core i7 4860HQ (2.4 - 3.6 GHz)
- Nvidia GTX 980M (4GB)
- 16 GB RAM 1600 MHz

May I also ask someone for BEST available settings for PCSX2?
That's my current one:

Please, help.
Thanks.

It's a ghosting issue and pretty infamous with this game.

Here's a fix for it. (Be aware that it creates a 1 pixel border around the window on the top and left side of the screen, but it's better than dealing with the annoying ghosting)
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 @ 3.60~4.20 GHz | Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2x16GB) DDR4-3200
MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Super @ 6 GB | Samsung 980 1TB | Windows 10 Pro x64 (22H2)

Another problem ^^' Unfortunately when entered city, vertical stripes started appearing. Align Sprite Hack doesn't work Sad Any ideas what to do?

Problem doesn't occur on Native x1

o_O that's new.

What other settings are you using? Can you take a screen of all of them? (Including Hacks pages)
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 @ 3.60~4.20 GHz | Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2x16GB) DDR4-3200
MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Super @ 6 GB | Samsung 980 1TB | Windows 10 Pro x64 (22H2)

Sure thing Smile
Emulation settings:
EE/IOP: http://scr.hu/79lw/qeabn
VUs: http://scr.hu/79lw/q05el
GS: http://scr.hu/79lw/5pcmy
GS Window: http://scr.hu/79lw/msh5d
Speedhacks: http://scr.hu/79lw/41y19

GSDx: http://scr.hu/79lw/0hd93
Hacks: http://scr.hu/79lw/ucv0h

This only happens on desert and in desert city(for now atleast :/) From what I've seen it may be caused by desert heat effect, you know mirage or something. As I said earlier, on Native x1 there's no problem at all :/ On Custom there's the same stripes, but transparent.

Native: http://scr.hu/79lw/uhxnb
Native + MSAA: http://scr.hu/79lw/5vw28
As you can see on Native+MSAA there's black stripes.

When I turn off Texture Flitering there's also transparent stripes. Tried pretty much everytinhg... Sad
