Stuck on loading, files not found in PRE

I have just tried playing a few games using the emulator, the games load up fine and I see the splash screens and intro cutscenes. Then I get to the ingame loading screen and it gets stuck on halfway. The log always says something along the lines of:

--- pak¥skaterparts¥skaterparts.pak.ps2 not found in PRE
--- skies/default_sky/default_sky.pak.ps2 not found in PR

the specific games are THAW and THUG2

Any help would be hugely appreciated

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

You have to disable the MTVU speedhack to get past the loading screen. Tony hawk games didn't go along with it.
