Taito Legends 2 graphical issue?

Hello! I hope someone here can assist me with this issue.

On the PCSX2 wiki, it says there is an Active Graphical Issue regarding 2D games in this collection if you use DX11 or OpenGL.

I'm guessing it's talking about the vertical/horizontal lines I experienced below:

However, I fixed this issue by simply Enabling Hacks and setting Round Sprite to Half.

Unfortunately, another issue has surfaced...well, to be honest I've actually experienced this weird issue before in another 2D game, and Baldur's Gate 1&2.

For some reason PCSX2 suddenly stops rendering a portion of the games levels/stages. I can still walk over the black portions of the map, but I can't see a thing!

I can temporarily fix this with a 60% or so success rate by closing PCSX2 and starting it up again, until the issue appears again in which case I restart PCSX2 again. Weird...

This happens in both DX11 and OpenGL. My PCSX2 settings are mostly default, with a few changes:
