Can anything be done about the darkening of the screen with Skipdraw 1 enabled?

The wiki states to get rid of the Ghost problem, but with Skipdraw enabled, the entire screen is like I turned the Brightness down to 0.

if I don't enable Skipdraw, the game has the ghost effect and it's obnoxious enough to be unplayable.

Ensure the GSdx version you got is the version from this post. This is the one compiled by KrossX himself (he coded the patch)
