Try it like this
patch=1,EE,201B4858,extended,00000000

BTW the address(the value)is not changed even once from the start of the game till the problematic fmv(including the fmv)

I didn't do much testing(probably I'm doing something I'm not supposed to to make the fix work)but it was still freezing after Stan escape from the ship

Yup, it was not meant to be taken literally at all. I should've added a smiley.

patch=0 means "disable the cheat"
Also that code
A01B4858 00000000
is part of master code
(M) CB1+/XP1+
F0100208 001B76EB
A01B4858 00000000

There is something else that help you fix the problem and I don't think it's this code

i din touch other settings at all
just applied this pnach
and i've tested the code 4 several times
each time gives me same answer

with the pnach = smooth playing
without the pnach = freeze everytime

u can read tis page
http://code.google.com/p/pcsx2/issues/detail?id=530
i got the information based on the user's comments
i admit tat i've no idea why it works, but it just did.

regarding the patch=0
i read somewhere that it is represents as run once whilst the patch=1 is run every frame

u dun believe me is fine, at least it worked 4 me and i hope it helps other players as well
btw, did u try the pnach i uploaded?

Excellent! Still on the first try (and with patch=1) and it's working fine.

I enabled it all first, cheat/pnach was loaded but the intro video hanged. Then, rebooted and it worked perfectly fine. Just now the second set of FMVs finished without a problem, yay! =D 「お兄ちゃん、起きて。」

I don't know if patch=0 mean one time enable(I can easily check but I'm doing something else right now)but "A" code type mean one time enable.
