Tales of Destiny: Director's Cut keeps freezing
Hi Everyone,

I'm new to using PCSX2 and ToD: Director's Cut is the first game I've used it to play. However, it freezes every time an FMV plays as well as occasionally while a screen is loading. It's even frozen a few times after battles and on the world map. I've tried changing the audio to DirectSound as well enabling and disabling the FPU Multiply hack and the skip MPEG hack. However when I enable the latter of the two the FMV still continues to play (and freeze) leading me to think I'm doing something wrong. I'm using PCSX2 1.4.0. If anyone has any idea how I can get the game to stop freezing I would be eternally grateful. Thanks in advance!

For anyone trying to fix this problem, I downloaded the pnach file included in post number 25 of this thread. I put it in the cheats folder and enabled cheats. My game hasn't frozen since. The only downside is that the opening FMV will play after every animation, but only if you don't skip the animation which is probably fixable but I don't know anything about pnach files and it's not a big deal to me.

I just found the answer to my problems from a YouTube video. They gave me a cheat code and it fixed it. Thanks anyways though!
If you use the newer version, you probably won't even need the cheat code anymore. 1.4.0 is very outdated at this point.
I tried v1.5.0-dev-2255, but still freezing.

Go to PCSX2 Debug menu and enable blockdump. Then start the game until the first FMV freezes. Once it has frozen the game, close PCSX2 and then put the blockdump it created in a zip file and upload it here.
