Is you DirectX updated? it should give you an error message if not, but...

Edit: also, iirc Tales of the abyss works with very well 2.2 Ghz comp (though intel), so...

I'm using GSDx 1873, with the settings:

Resolution: 640x480 (60Hz)
Renderer: Direct3D9 (Hardware)
Interlacing: None
Aspect Ratio: 4:3
D3D Internal Res: Native
Wait VSync, Logarithmic Z and Windowed checked.

1.5x changed to 2x Speedhack.

Now whenever i run the game, i just get a black screen with the sound in the background. I don't get this with any older versions of the plugins. Any ideas?

download and install the march plugins by following the instructions in the .txt (they are in the download section) if your windows are vista or 7 use d3d10
OS: Win 7 Ultimate x64 sp1, MoBo: Asus P5QD Turbo, CPU: Q6600 @ 3,0Ghz, RAM: Trancend 2x2gb 6-6-6-18 800 MHz, GPU: HD 4850 1gb.

Let me add, to use d3d10 your Video Card must support DirectX10 or above.

Updated DirectX, March plugins installed (using gsdx 2693 0.1.16). I have vista, but there is no option for D3D10. It's running alot better with the new changes, but still pretty slow.

I'm running the build Vista was released on (6.0.6000). I never upgraded as SP1 pretty much destroyed my computer both times i tried the install, so i just followed "dont fix what isnt broken" and kept this.
