Tales of the Abyss Widescreen Patch not working on 1.4.0

Enabling widescreen hack doesn't work. Placing Pnatch in cheats ws folder does not work. I do have widescreen 16:9 enabled.
Kingdom Hearts 2 FM+ and various SMT games work just fine. Tales of the Abyss is the only one that doesn't work. I'm using an undub iso.

Copy that file and rename it to 045D77E9.pnach

when i enable widescreen patches even if both the document cheats and cheats_ws and the ones it the program file are completely empty it just crashes pcsx2 instantly when i press boot

it does the same when i put in the patch on the document cheats and cheats_ws

this error just keeps repeating too then it chrashes and says pcsx2 has stopped working
they are actually all slightly differnt weird |
