Also a faster CPU will help, i don't even reach full speed on my i7 920 @ 3.8Ghz which is considerably superior to yours.

Tekken Tag is easily in the top 5 of hardest games to emulate on PCSX2, barring incompatible games (games without 100% compatibility.)
I'm pretty sure it's because it was coded sloppily or in a weird manner, since it was one of the earliest PS2 games ever (it was a launch title for both the original March 2000 PS2 launch in Japan, as well as the November 2000 North America launch.)
