Tekken Tag Tournament runs slowly
#1
Hello everyone, I've only recently downloaded PCSX2 0.9.8 and managed to get TTT running on it. Only there is a huge amount of slowdown while playing, I've messed about with all of the settings suggested such as allowing 8 bit graphics, Messed about with the speedhacks options and screwed with VU , but to no avail. It's still slow as treacle.

OS: Windows XP SP 3

Specs: Intel Core Duo CPU E4600 @ 2.40 gHZ
Nvidia GeForce GT 440
3 GB of RAM
I'm using an ISO too. Any help would be much appreciated.

Try latest svn with mtvu hack.
That said, TTT is quite demanding and your cpu may not be up to the task

From memory the MTVU hack isnt very effective on the duo`s. Besides your cpu is too slow and no amount of tinkering in settings will change that, either OC you cpu or upgrade as the only other option is too play it with slowdown. I had a duo 2.2 and even after tweaking the hell out of Pcsx2 i realized it just didnt have the power

Ive heard that, I think its games that don't use a lot of Vu, so im guessing non-3d games will see improvement.
Still my last computer would run Tekken tag at 30-45 fps and in the end i had to upgrade, speed hacks can only go so far, then its upgrade or OC time
