Text doesn't load right on Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life

The game seems to run just fine, but there are weird lines over all the text in the game. Does anyone know a fix for this?

In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.

• Your hardware specs - CPU, Graphics Card, Memory, Operating System.
  
• The version of PCSX2 you are using.
  
• Any non default settings you are using.
  
• What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.

You switched from hardware accelerated (GPU) rendering to pure software emulation (CPU) of the gs chip.
This has higher accuracy but often lower speed and provides less features.
