"The GS Plugin failed to load" on plugin config

i'm trying to configure the plugins on PCSX 1.2.1 and i'm receiving this error message

"The Selected GS plugin failed to load
Reason: the plugin reports that you hardware or software/drivers are not supported
C:\program files\PCSX2 1.2.1\Plugins\gsdx32-sse2-r5875.dll"

See if that resolves some of the errors.

Nobbs is right - PCSX2 will be VERY slow on that PC. Unless you are wanting to play 2d games, it may not be worth the hassle.

Actually i want to play FFXII. I was looking at the recommended requirements and all but the processor are above the recommended still the processor meets the minimum requirements, but if you are sure that it wont work i wont even try.

It will work, but you will run at maybe 70% of full speed at best with many speedhacks.

Your processor has a single threaded performance(STP) of 794.

PCSX2 needs an STP of ~900 for 2d games, ~1200 for light 3d games, ~1400 for average 3d games, ~1600 for moderately demanding 3d games, and 1800+ for highly demanding 3d games.

Based on that, you can see why it will be slow. FFXII would fall in the realm of light/average 3d games, and should need ~1300.

Anyway, the only other thing I know to suggest is a repair install of visual c++ 2013 x86 redist, but I doubt it will help.

BTW what is your GPU?

The visual C++ was installed with the PCSX2 but i will try that.
My GPu is a NVIDIA GeForce GT 740 2GB DDR3 128-Bit Directx12 OpenGl 4.4
