Hey, so I created this account just for this reason, and I need some help of how do I get rid of this error message. (Error Code: 0xc000007b)

I been looking up tutorials, fixes and solves all over last night, and still couldn't find an answer.
I had install Microsoft Visual C++ Studio 2015. I did installed the 2017 version then uninstalled it because PCSX2 requires the 2015 version, that didn't work. I copied my MCVCP140.dll, and VCRUNTIME140.dll both to System32, and SysWOW64, that also didn't work.
I did run this on my old computer (Windows 7 64-bit) that works, but on my new laptop (Windows 10 64-bit) didn't work
So, i'm all out of ideas and options and I can't figure out the problem. Some help would be appreciated.

You are not suppoused to copy the files there.
If you used the installer version, during the instalation,pcsx2 ask you if you want to install vc 2015

Also pcsx2 requires the x86 version of vc 2015

I already installed the x86 version of 2015, still didn't work.
And I did checked the box for installing VC 2015, that also didn't work.

Thank you so much! That actually work. I may keep the installer just in case.  Smile

well alternately get the binary version instead and unpack it on C:\ or on your native drive where the drive windows is not installed if any.
and on the pcsx2 opening setup must be in "system default"...that is much easier if they need to prompt to ask to install needed system files.

The 'System Default' thing that pops up on the wizard is what the language of PCSX2 should be. It has nothing to do with installing VC++, which is always required regardless of whether you use the binary version or not.
