The controlls never save themself!

After i set the controls i hit apply, then i saved it, and then hit ok.
I open up controls again but it reset itself, i load it hit ok again but its never applied to the game. Soo........
I can't play Kingdom Hearts 1(the actual game not a downloaded iso)

I have tried redoing it over and over again, but i can't ever hit any button, all i see is the opening screen that says:
-new game
-Load

Plz help if you can......

i have some problems with this and the faq dont help too much,beacuse i already set permissions and all but sometimes the controller plugin still dont save my config,its strange indeed
