I test some of the last revision, and all of then crash when i start any game.

The last i test was the "1.1.0.5782 (svn) Jan 14 2014"
I have here the "1.1.0.5444 (svn) Nov 8 2012"
And run perfectly fine.

I use the same configurations, and the crash persist.
Any ideas??

I believe it has to do with the Shader model level of your card. I'm pretty sure. What is your GPU?

Anyway, if that's it, the solution for now is just use the older one until it gets sorted out.

You should be able to use something more recent than that though. Something in the 5700s I'd think.

Might as well post emulog.txt(From PCSX2/logs/)

I was just going by a similar issue that happened the other day. But who knows.

Do you have "FXAA shader" ticked in gsdx?

try the latest svn from here as that version you are having problems with was from last year 2013-12-30 09:12:18

i had the crash problem using revision 5812-5815 iirc it happened when i tried launching a game

svn version 5816 worked but has graphics corruption on 2 games(possibly due to me having a ati hd 5870, i hope not Sad it could even be that my drive has corrupted pcsx's plugin dll's

( i use svn 1.1.0.r5633 may 21 2013 )as it's working ok, so i haven't updated it yet Tongue

sorry no emu log atm as my mech hard drive that had it on has decided to die Sad i think my sata chip is dying as it keeps disconnecting my drives Unsure

btw guys what shader model is required/best for pcsx2? according to gpu-z i have sm 5.0
Not sure what graphics card you have, it's memory bandwidth,
it's temperature, fan speed, what pixel shader it has
try TechPowerUp's gpu-z

Not sure what your cpu is try cpu-z

1.You are not using the revs from the builbot(no one knows what emucr put in that rev)...download it from here
2.You are using DEV9ghzdrk,switch to DevNull
3.Try different GSdx plugin(SSE2,3 or 4)

This always happen to me on my laptop, even though I've set it to null on my old setting when I update pcsx2 (and the ini using the import prompt) it always set dev9 to something that crash the pcsx2.

Strangely it doesn't happen on my desktop.

it shouldn't change your settings unless you delete your ini's. But yes, changing the dev9 plugin back to null will stop the crashes.
