System
Core i3 at 3.4 ghz, locked multiplier
8Gb of 1600 mhz Ram
1tb sata drive, runs os as well..
MSI twin froxr III 6950, unlocked and very slightly clocked (860 and 1325)
Win 8.1 update 1, latest AMD drivers.
pcsx2 1.2.1
internal res 1920x1080

I'm seeing my EE (actual cpu mostly right) hover between 20 and 50% on average playing final fantasy x, x-2, and xii as well as kingdom hearts. I know these aren't the most brutal games to test with, but they're the games I actually play.

GS sits pretty normal below 20.

I'm not running speed hacks, only game fix is the video fix.

So far my highest amounts seem to be during FMV. Plays a pretty smooth 60 fps, give or take a fps. I'm just starting the games up though... Any known scenes that are gonna peg that EE and make it tank my fps into unplayable that I can expect?

Jes... I don't have the same setup, but I'll remove frame limit and see what she runs... 45 was best my old PC would do, but crap integrated graphics will do that...

This system has been through several of the FMV's and not dipped below 59.x fps, but I suspect that is more a result of the limiter than a realistic result.

Yeah, this sounds very worrying to me. If I were you, I'd be extra careful.

Sorry, gotta run.
