Time Crisis 2 Split-screen uses player 1 screen

Did you try the latest git version or the PR(the PR version lacks recent updates, as it was made a while ago)? And does the issue affect all renderers?

The game doesn't seem to hit any of the changes I made according to a GS dump. Another commit might've messed up the player 2 side, but you weren't able to tell because of the regression. Can you share a multiple frame GS dump (hold CTRL + SHIFT + F8 for about 2 seconds when the issue is visible)?

The split-screen works in software mode for both dx and opengl. Hardware mode when the game is loading after selecting 2 player mode, it shows the blue "loading..." word at the bottom right for both screens but only lasts for half a second on player 2 side and turns black. I did also try the latest git but it did not work.

Thanks, that one works. But I can't reproduce the issue. It works fine with all renderers. I even tried a few crazy settings just to be sure and it didn't trigger the issue.

What's the last build it did work for you? If you're unsure can you try the game with this build?

Arggh, I am a fool! I did not think of trying it with a different resolution. I kept on testing it with the same custom resolution I always use for games, 1920x1080 and did not think that would have been the reason why player 2 had a black screen. Using native and other x natives shows player 2 side, that works with the latest git build and the one you sent me and the one refraction sent me.

I didn't try that resolution. Tongue2 I can confirm the issue and it is a regression, as it did work at that custom resolution for a while. It seems to have regressed at this commit: https://github.com/PCSX2/pcsx2/commit/c5...789645af8e

Cool! Figured out that one....now I have have another problem that involves time crisis 2 again. Can I add that onto this post or should I make another thread?

Alright awesome! well I just finished recording a whole gameplay of time crisis 2 in split-screen mode and there some parts of the game where I take damage from certain bosses or an enemy and my hud, my aiming cursor and my characters turn black...this issue happened before in older builds and the latest stable build in single player (split-screen fix was not added in the latest stable version). When I played the single player in the latest stable build months ago, getting to a certain point in the game and sometimes when taking damage, it would also cause objects and my hud to go invisible. I will get the video uploaded in a bit and post it on here.

I did find gameplay video that someone posted on dec 11 of time crisis 2 and it did show the same issues I had back then.

I don't really know what the problem could be because it would happen in some playthroughs but in others it would play perfectly.
