Timesplitters 2 Arcade-Level 'Men In Gray' Not Working On PCSX2
#1
The game works fine - But all of a sudden i run into this thing that happens.. You cant blow up the computers in 'men in gray' which means you cant beat that mini game. Sure the computers 'blow up' but it doesnt register it, It doesnt notice the act at all. Ive tried everything i could think of and nothing works that i did to try getting it to work. : ( No idea whats wrong with it, Personally.

Not sure if you wanted me to play an entire game of that again or from the quick-save state and.. Die and quit it to the main menu or something? Anyway i just pasted whatever it recorded, Hope i did it right. Are there any cheat-software for pcsx2 btw? Because if this nonsense keeps happening id like to have the option to come back later when ive done everything else and just gold-medal-code this level which is fair given that its not being fair and not working. (I dont normall yuse cheat codes for things)

The pasted information might look weird too because this level is flat out ***** chaos in difficulty and how i handled it. I kept jumping from save state to save-state, Messing up save states accidently, Quick-reloading constantly, Doing this crap over and over only to find out a critical function isnt working for some reason in those ingame-computers.

try doing everything without using savestates
out of curiosity, why did you name your sio "1.02" ?
did you aply some patch to your game or anything else ? because that could explain your problem
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070

-_- I figured id have to try that. I dont like being randomly placed way over here then up here and MAYBE in the good-area right next to the entrance when i can hit f3 and be in one place each time. They grrrind the 'you-died' thing in players faces with that dumb music and spinning round and round the dead character but i will try without save-states.

At first when discovering pcsx2 it was initially the 1.4 build, Then i immediately discovered there was an update 1.6 and downloaded that instead, Which was for the first time a week or two ago. I tried to use as little from 1.4's as i could but there may have been some things brought over from 1.4, Not sure anymore. I tried to used an unpatched ts2 iso because of not being interested in patches that often but definitely did not personally apply any patch to this game or the ps2 emulator. If the sio shouldnt be 1.02, Pls tell me how to undo it because i dont want any latent anti-cheat or errors messing with an already brutally hard game.

Tried it without a single save-state (boy was it awful) and same thing. Computers blow up.. They dont register as 'destroyed', And thats not from lack of trying. Loaded the game without a single save-state this time. Not sure why it would be a problem.. Did all of Tsp1 with occasional qucik-saves and loads and nothing like this ever happened. -.-

These type of problems  in other games are usually solved if you increase clamping mode to extra + preserve sign or full. Worth a try I guess. If that doesn't work you can also try different round modes.
#8
Iii see. Well thank you.

Also.. The sio "1.02" thing.. Could someone explain that more pls? Id like to fix whatever it is if i can.

but...
why did you name it this way if you haven't applied an 1.02 pacth ?

..Because.. Wherever i got the package from someone might have applied that thing to it?.. And if its bad (Not sure why yet, No one's explained) Then id like to remove it?..
