Timesplitters:Future perfect "soft locked" in story
#1
Using pcsx2 1.5.0

Games ran flawlessly bar the odd graphical glitch which cant seemed to be helped no matter what but does not effect gameplay.

You get to a point in the story where you have to interact with a cpu screen to open a security door. You sorta just zoom into the screen without a loading screen. Anyway, I can interact with it in every way, move the mouse on the ingame screen, cancel out of it, but I cant confirm anything thus not being able to progress.

Ive tried on 1,4,0 and it continues on fine the (problem with 1.4.0 is its riddled with graphical bugs which are not there in 1.5.0), can use the cpu and can press the files on the screen to open the security door, seems to be a problem with 1.5.0 itself. Ive tried many things and nothing seems to work.

Do you have widescreen patches enabled ? Try without them. Maybe you can track down which build the issue started to appear ?

It's not a regression, same as the existing bug report

Tried with and without widescreen patches. Tried so many different options I cant think of one I have not tried. Id only ask here if I was (and I am) truly stumped. I guess I could download some earlier builds and find out. The game does have built in widescreen tho, so a widescreen patch isn't even really necessary.

You need to enable the auto flush hack in GSdx to fix it, I just checked

Tried it, its not a graphical issue on the surface (it might be) but auto flush didn't fix the problem. Still cant interact with the pc.

Can you post a pic to make sure we're talking about the same problem?

Essentially you have to interact with this screen, which is fine.

When you activate it, it zooms into the screen and you have to press the folders to do things like open a door and such, but nothing on the screen will respond, I can exit the screen and move that mouse you see on the screen, but the X button does nothing (Normally when you press X on a folder it opens up something that allows you to open a door ingame)

Can you upload a savestate right before this point using latest build? Also if possible a memory card save nearest to this point.

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1nQgbyu...06y5-BVK1c There you go, the save state is right in front of the pc.

When you load the save the level is "What lies below" pretty straight forward just gotta walk forward, kill some zombies and you'll get to the pc in like 2-3 minutes.
