Transferring data on PS2 memory card to PC

I've been wanting to play my old PS2 games on PCSX2 rather than my old and rickety PS2 for a very long time; however I've not found any trustworthy instructions on how to transfer the save data on my PS2 memory card to the PC, so I can use it with PCSX2. Do the folks here have advice on how to do this? I'm open to any and all suggestions.

There are versions of Codebreaker or action replay that allow you to transfer from a memory card to a usb drive.

Or you can use http://psx-scene.com/forums/f19/release-...0-a-65652/ since you have a soft modded ps2 so you could legally get your bios fikes to use with PCSX2. This will save you time, money and headache since it should generally work with any usb drive and does not require tracking down any extra ps2 software.

Edit almost forgot that you will also want MyMC to convert the save to PCSX2 compatible .ps format from whatever your method produces
