Trouble loading cheats

Hi all,

First post so apologies in advance but I am really struggling!

I'm new to the emulator and fancied activating some cheats for FFX, I did follow guides and steps to ensure my PNACH file matches my game CRC and that the file is located in the cheats folder within PCSX2.

I also ensured the // were removed i.e.

//== Tidus ==
//Max HP
patch=1,EE,0031EAC0,short,0000270F



Each time I load the game the console says: Not found Cheats file: Not found Cheats file: C:\Users\Alex\Documents\PCSX2\cheats\A39517AB.pnach
Overall 0 cheats loaded.

I'm hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction, the answer may be obivous but after 3 hours I'm resorting to the forum!

Is your pnach file in documents\pcsx2\cheats ?
Not in main pcsx2 dir

im no closer to figuring this out than i am to winning the lotto at this point i've followed the guides and plowed thru the forums looking for something i might have done wrong but still get ..................

Found Cheats file: '1F34E107.pnach'
Loaded 0 Cheats from '1F34E107.pnach' at 'C:\Users\xxxx\Documents\PCSX2\cheats'
Overall 0 Cheats loaded
