Trouble using cheats with 0.9.8

I'm having trouble using cheats for pcsx2 0.9.8 for Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+

I'm getting the error "can't open file 'cheats\f266b00b.pnach' (errpr 3: the system cannot find the path specidied.)

I've gone through all the tutorials and a lot of posts/threads about this already, but a lot of them were for 0.9.7 so it didn't help much. I've got the right CRC and the file is saved as .pnach and not .txt or some other format. I've also tried having the cheats file in both the file in the c:\ and also the one in documents. Nothing is working. Any ideas?

Try using the binary package of 0.9.8:

and unpack it in for example "C:\PCSX2", then place the "f266b00b.pnach" file in the "c:\PCSX2\cheats" folder, and run the .exe in the C:\PCSX2 folder, if you still get the same error then the patch file is named incorrectly.
