Trying to get Dance Summit 2001: Bust a move to work with the emulator

Hi everyone, I am trying to figure out a way to play this game with the new developmental version of PCSX2 1.7.0 (btw I am using the patch files for the game as well) and it still doesn't work for me. I have a decent setup (I am on a laptop) but still with the 'kita 2001' stage it flashes with a black screen each time I start playing the stage and sometimes cuts off during the middle of the song with a black screen for about 5 seconds and it is so annoying. I just want to play the game.
