Tried making a separate control scheme for Armored Core 2, and hopefully for AC3 and the few side-story games that go with both. Unfortunately, trying to walk and aim is near impossible due to the controls continuously going in a diagonal direction.
I am currently only set for SDL with an 8BitDo Pro Pad 2 (Set to wireless BT mode), and graphics set for Software-Only. Question is, tho: Can I only swap the buttons between their places, or can I have multiple bindings? For example: The D-pad I want to remap to the analog sticks, but I want to retain the D-pad for easy menu navigation.
Here's the layout I have in mind:
DEFAULT GAME REMAPPED
BUTTON FUNCTION - BUTTON
L2 - Aim Up - R-Up
R2 - Aim Down - R-Down
L1 - Strafe Left - L-Left
R1 - Strafe Right - L-Right
D-Up - Move Forward - L-Up
D-Down - Move Backward - L-Down
D-Left - Turn Left - R-Left
D-Right - Turn Right - R-Right
/\ - Switch Weapon - L1
[] - Fire Weapon - R2
>< - Jump Jets - L2 / ><
() - Sword/Use - R1
R3 - Over Boost - /\
L3 - Extension - []
Is this remapping even possible?
