Trying to run pcsx2 on 64 bit windows 8

I've been trying to run pcsx2 for a while now. It downloads, but it doesn't run. I get this error code '0xc000007b'. I have looked up many tutorials about fixing this problem, but none are working Sad

I have a hp pavilion, windows 8, 64 bit. Can anyone help me?

Wow! Thank you so much! Out of all the tutorials I watched, no one advised me to do that. Life saver Smile
Ok another problem.

The selected GS plugin failed to load. The plugin reports that your hardware or software/drivers are not supported.
update directx

Download latest DX9

Despite it being Windows 8 and coming with DirectX 11.2 by default, you still need this DX9 as well.
Intel Core i5-4670K @ 3.40GHz | 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3-1866 G.SKILL Sniper Series
AMD Radeon R9 280 @ 3 GB | 120GB SSD | Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (SP1)
I've updated directX and I have downloaded directX9 too. Still getting the same error message.
This is what the error is saying 'C:\Program Files (x86)\PCSX2 1.2.1\Plugins\gsdx32-awx-r5875.dll'
