when i selected the iso using the browse button nothing happened... i finally got this successfully installed on my computer and now it wont let me do anything.....

Well let's quote the guide that is in this very same thread you posted...

Jamza, you should probably read the specs guide if your games are lagging really bad. The thing is, the regular specifications for using PCSX2 are around 2.7GHz or so approximately. Yours shouldn't be too far off from the recommended speed if you want the game to run at least somewhat decent like mine. There is a guide in the FAQ section of the PCSX2 software.exe that you just downloaded. Might want to take a look at that.
