Ubuntu/Retropie no longer opening PCSX2 after update - any fix/way to downgrade?
#1
Was working less than a week ago, got a notification through the OS (not RetroPie) that there was an update. I performed that update and now get an instant crash on launch.

PCSX2 was installed via binary through RetroPie Experimental package menus.

the log at /dev/shm/runcommand.log says: the following after trying to launch a game.

Code:
/opt/retropie/configs/all/runcommand-onstart.sh: line 4: /usr/bin/python: No such file or directory
Parameters:
Executing: /usr/games/pcsx2 "/home/andrew/RetroPie/roms/ps2/FIFA Street.iso" --fullscreen --nogui
/opt/retropie/supplementary/runcommand/runcommand.sh: line 1313: /usr/games/pcsx2: No such file or directory
/opt/retropie/configs/all/runcommand-onend.sh: line 7: kill: (7585) - No such process

happens with all previously known working games...does anyone know how to downgrade or fix?

Thanks for any help.

possibly useful info:

Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS
I can't work out how to get PCSX2 version, but with having had a few updates over the past wek or 2, I believe it to use the unstable version.
Retropie version 4.8.2
