+1 to the OP for using Ubuntu!

*Ubuntu high five!* XD

Make sure you have the latest Nvidia linux drivers and such I guess.

Also you seem to be on a really old build of PCSX2 (x3 cycle rate is there).

If you want check out the link in my signature for a really updated SVN build of PCSX2, and also far more recent plugins. The links I've made are last updated Aug 14 Smile

Using more recent plugins and a more recent build of PCSX2 should surely help with performance, although I can't know how much because I haven't been using PCSX2 on my Ubuntu (part of my dual boot config). Smile

Your use of Ubuntu is making me restart my computer and play around in Linux again, I'm going to play with making it look purty XD
Check out my snazzy Youtube channel, with many great PCSX2 emulation videos! Laugh http://www.youtube.com/user/curryking1 Laugh

That's a little on the weak side...

For your GTX260, which drivers in ubuntu are you using? the ones in the ubuntu repos or direct from nvidia?
