Hmmm... Still crashes but the log file is different now

I changed the adapter to my GPU (Intel HD Graphics 4600) and the renderer to Direct3D 11 (Hardware)

did you try the 0.9.8 version, since the gsdx went a major change after that version. so trying the 0.9.8 version might not have this problem.

Still same problem. Maybe i'm not meant to emulate PS2

no, you are getting the wrong idea. your laptop is capable of playing pcsx2 but, for some unknown reasons it crashes. try setting the priority of pcsx2 to high in taskmanager.

Don't give up. If it works for others it will work as well for you.

Do you have another gpu than the 4600 in the selection?
Do you have another gpu than the 4600 in your notebook?

I do not. Could that be what is causing it?

Unless you mean...?:
Default Hardware Device
Reference Device
Microsoft Basic Render Driver

try using microsoft basic render device in the gpu selection area with dx11 and boot the game and check whether it crashes or not if this method works, then it's not a problem of directx updation.
edit: it seems you have noticed the other selections. now choose microsoft basic render device using dx9/11 and boot the iso.

I would also try to use the software renderer. (Renderer->Direct3D11(software))
