Unusual graphics
#1
Hi.

I have been having issues running NPPL championship paintball 2009 [NTSC] (I haven't tried my other games yet) on pcsx2, I have tried all sorts of settings and GSU(?) drivers but get the same issue...

Strangley colored textures,
textures turning invisible,
rainbow textures,
textures flickering,
textures being replaced by a bunch of numerals and letters,
transparent textures being fully colored or showing edges (eg weapon sprites etc)
ingame GUI not showing properly (usually with the above effects)

also, slow motion effect when playing - idc I just want the graphics fixed.
menu / pre-game GUI works fine, except 3d objects.
also intro vids vibrate like heck, but I found a mediocre way to fix that.
this site says NPPL is playable

my system:
cpu: Intel core 2 E6550 2.33ghz
gpu: Nvidia GeForce 9600GT - drivers need updating i think (possible fix?)
ram: 2gb

I'm not home right now and I don't have internet, otherwise I would have tried updating drivers etc (will do that with flash drive tonight). Also haven't tried any other games, will do that also with my brothers games. If no one has a solution or I can't fix it myself, I'll try other games and bring screen shots etc.

Does anyone know what is causing my graphics prob?
Can anyone suggest another EMU or two?

BTW: a PS3 controller makes a good pad for the emu / pc Smile

nope, I will try that when I get home, also tried another game and the 3d seems fine apart from the shaking, which I assume interlacing fixes
