Hi, 
A few minutes ago, i did run update on my PCSX2 Nightly version from v1.7.4703 to latest version. However, the update is failed because Windows Defender detected a Trojan in updater.exe. Is this a false positive?

Interesting... I'm on latest pcsx2 using windows 10, as of this moment and my Windows Defender definitions are current as of 7/12 and no matter how I scan the PCSX2 folder everything comes back clean.

maybe because you left it in downloads folder ?

Looks like windows defender been false flagging misc stuff with a trojan warning in the last day or two. I imagine this will get resolved soon. So far I've seen Roblox and TikTok has been both flagged with essentially same exact warning from windows defender.

PCSX2 from official downloads is safe, don't panic; Microsoft will likely resolve this soon.
