I went from a x4 to a x6 and now SSX3 is super slow.
It drops to 25-30FPS (halfspeed)
I have tried lots of configurations with no luck.
In the log it does say This CPU does not support SSE 3.01(pxActionEvent)
It is a AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Processor
I am going to build up a rig hat should fun it fine but I realy want to play on my gaming PC.
Anyone know if x6 works at all?
Thank you.

what was the x4? an intel product? that way it's not an upgrade for pcsx2. but guessing you didn't switch the mainboard it was another amd. so maybe it's just the clock that's a lil to different? or a generic detection fault. did you reinstall your windows? in rare cases switching cpu's requires a reinstall for some lowlevel components to work.

X6 should work, neither your new or old CPU would have supported sse 3.01. Is it only pcsx2 which is slower?
What x4 did you have? Its possible you actually downgraded

I am using PCSX2 0.9.8.r4600
I forgot what one I used. This one is over clocked to 3.5GHz.
This one feels faster and renders movies better than the x4 anyway.
I have a Intel rig that I am going to test it out on and see if that works.

Set EE Cyclerate and VU Cycle Stealing to max.
40-50FPS
Most of the time slower than normal game play.

I'd suggest to reinstall windows, it is a PITA but sometimes it is required for stability.
