The release versions are built with special CPU optimizations, so they're about 7% (give or take) faster than SVN builds. On a slow system where every % count, use the release version only (currently that's 1.2.1) for maximum performance. And since the last release was only few weeks ago, it's not even outdated.

tbh i didn't know that Blush

but as i have seen regularly, others tend to tell noobies in not to finer point to give up because their system is slow, that helps no-one Sad

i have games (particularly 2 of the ratchet and clank series) which run slowish, but i still enjoy playing them

as said my old pc ran like a bag of old nails, but i still loved this emu even then,

if i was rich enough i would run competitions from within this site to win custom pc's, saddly i'm not that well off yet

maybe one day ey Wink
Not sure what graphics card you have, it's memory bandwidth,
it's temperature, fan speed, what pixel shader it has
try TechPowerUp's gpu-z

Not sure what your cpu is try cpu-z
