Used to get 60 fps, lately games have become unplayable

Hey guys, I've been playing Persona 3 FES and Persona 4 on my new laptop, I've had it for about a month now. I took about a week off playing it just because I had a lot of home work and what not. Anyways, since I've tried getting back into it, the FPS is at like 25-35 and it's basically unplayable.

Make sure to set windows performance plan to high performance and play the game while plugged in. Make sure to use default settings and also use MTVU hack for a little speed up.
