VU Cycle Steal
#1
Hello!

I'm in my first steps into PCSX2, and I'm trying to get those extra FPS to make my PS2 games shine in HD.

I read meny other posts where a speed hack called "VU Cycle Stealing" was mentioned, even with screen caps attached.
Well, I can't find that hack in my Beta 1474's Speed Hacks menu! Is it there?

Oh, just in case, mi PC's main specs are:

AMD Athlon x2 7750 Black Edition @ 3GHz
nVidia GeForce 7950 GT
2GB RAM
Running on Windows XP 32bits

This is how it looks like.
It's the 1474 beta, but in the stable release wasn't there either.

That looks like either a old beta or the stable, you are not running the latest beta. Funny thing in that pic you hide the title of PCSX2, it should look like this, look at the title and the compiled date.

That's weird it is the right version, just the speed hacks dialog doesnt look right, try deleting your pcsx2.ini maybe.

From where did you download that beta(there is no such dialog in that version to begin with)
Even if you have wrong settings there is no way to see that dialog on that version

Uninstall your PCSX2, get the latest beta installer from the webpage. It should be there...

Reinstalled everything, and there is the VU Cycle steal slider!
I guess something went wrong when I updated.

Thanks!
