Valkyrie Profile 2 problems
#1
Allright, I am using PCSX2 0.9.7.3113, with the latest GSDX plugin.

CPU: i5 650 3.2 ghz
GPU: 1GB GTX 460

Now, I've got some slowdown of course, especially since I'm running it at an internal res of 1920X1080, but that's not my issue. My problem is that whenever I enter the Lost Forest, this is what I am met with:

It does this even with no speedhacks enabled.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? Thanks.

using software mode should do the trick
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

Software mode? Forgive me, I don't know too much about that stuff, but won't that use only my CPU, and not my GPU at all?

That problem hasn't been fixed yet in Hardware Mode, and yes it will use your CPU and the quality will look horrible in Software Mode but, if you want to be picky about it, then that's your only option.

The forest is not that long, so even if you play like that, it shouldn't be a problem. Just use the map to get through.

This and some other forest way later on. It's slightly annoying but doesn't kill the game Tongue2

Maybe off topic, but I had to ask...
How can you tell a game's internal resolution?
and what does it mean
game's internal resolution X*X but rendered at (for instance) 800 *600
I know you can change in hardware mode the gsdx D3D res. ... but how do you tell internal?

set native, it will tell you. (especially if you know that resolution isn't the one you set it to for the window)

I see, so I set native and D3D gets grayed out, but I don't see where the native resolution is shown
Is it on the console log? or in graph plugin?
