any kind of boost in performance??? i never use svns cause im lazzy and i dont wanna install vb, and of course i use a lot the save states so is a pain(not rly) to make a save point to used in a new revision xD, but if i can have 50-60fps in battle maybe i can be a little less lazzy >_>

SVNs have improved speed for me by about 25%, but I notice things like that alot easier than some, because of my PC.

I just tried to run this game today and when i get into the forest there are these opaque red blocks that cover some to all of the screen, i've tinkered with many settings but nothing i've done so far helps. Any suggestions?

apart from using software mode (F9 key) there's nothing you can do about it.
don't worry, though. It's the only place in the game in which you need to use this trick.
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go
