Vertical 'tearing' lines in Dynasty Warriors 5
#1
Hello all, in Dynasty Warriors 5 I am having a slight graphical issue that appears to be like vertical tearing lines, 7 to be exact and vsync does not fix the problem.
I have tried playing around with some settings but the lines appear no matter what I try, even on native resolution(too ugly to look at anyway Tongue)

Here is some screenshots of the 'tearing'- https://puu.sh/sCUnL/994855622a.jpg (Highlighted the 7 places where it 'tears') and http://puu.sh/sCV5z/acab065f03.jpg (Hard to see in this picture but during motion and playing there is a very obvious line going down the middle of the screen through the character model)

Settings- PCSX2 1.5.0 dev 1676- Emulation everything is default except MTVU is enabled and 16:9 widescreen. Graphics: http://puu.sh/sCUSM/2f471035fc.png

I am just wondering if there is any suggestions I should try to get it fixed because it is quite jarring, especially during gameplay.
Thanks!

Does this issue happen in 1.4 stable version? Maybe different de-interlacing modes might help to resolve the issue, but not sure about it.

Just downloaded 1.4 and yes the lines are still there. How do I change the de-interlacing modes?

MSAA may cause Graphical glitches, but FXAA is a safe option.
Try to disable HW Hacks and enable FXAA in the shader settings.

Lines are still there with MSAA disabled, before and after FXAA is enabled as well.

So no other suggestions? Sad Well I guess I will just have to deal with these 7 ugly tearing lines.

Okay well I can fix it if I turned set it to native and having MSAA being off, but it is way too ugly to look at Sad
If either of those 2 are on, the 7 vertical tearing lines appear.

Guessing there would be no fix for this at all, now known it is to do needing resolution and AA at native? I tried with Round Sprites on and it didn't help.

Try opengl hardware and tick accurate date. It should help. Also set blending unit to basic as well as CRC hack level to Partial.

Tried all that just now and unfortunately it did not help :/
Thanks for the suggestion though!

Did you try using another aspect ratio (F6 key)?
