Very low FPS with good PC, help.
#1
Hi eveyone, im sort of new to pcsx2. I am trying to play some games but I am getting very low fps (20) with a decent PC. All settings are default, I only changed the video plugin to AVX and set it to DX11 hardware. I tried 3 different games but I am getting the same problem on all 3 of them

These are my specs:

AMD FX 6100 @ 3.5 GHz
ASUS M5A97 EVO
Sapphire 7770 Vapor-X OC 1GB
2x4 GB RAM @ 1600 MHz
Samsung 840 Evo 120gb
Seagate Barracuda 500gb
Windows 7 x64 SP1
All drivers are latest version

Any help would be great! Thanks in advance!

The games are 007 Everything or Nothing, GTA LCS and Timespliters. All of them from ISO´s. But I set pcsx2 to DX11 hardware, and my CPU usage is very low while playing.

So some of the pretty demanding titles. The problem is probably your cpu

That helps a bit, but still very low fps. GPU usage is 20% measuring with msi afterburner, is that normal?

It is.
It will increase if you increase gdx internal res.
But that wont help your cpu...
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

I just tried on another PC with an Intel i5 3330 and a GTX 640 and having the same problem, but now I get 50 FPS but the game runs really slow like it is running at 15 - 20. What could that be?
