For your VB problem, try:

1. Go to Config -> Emulation Settings

2. At EE/IOP tab, set Clamping mode to "Full"

3. At VU tab, set Clamping mode to "Extra + Preserve Sign"

unfortunately the last reported playable version for Victorious Boxers was 0.9.6, however i don't know how much testing was involved with that, so it is possible that it was always like this.

Found out how to fix Victorious Boxers, go into speedhacks and enable Fast CDVD (works on latest SVN Smile). Round 2 will now work.

I got victorious boxers to work! Whew! Enabled speedhack, level 1, then enabled Fast CDVD. Now it's working flawlessly! I hope this thread helps others who want to play these games too.. As there isn't no fix yet for Victorious boxers here.. Smile

Thank you very much everyone! Smile)

never heard of that hack fixing a game

that might indicate an IO bug

Sounds like a timing issue of some sort. possibly the EE is running too fast for it or something.

sounds like something worth looking into ;D
games shouldn't need a disk speed hack to make it boot

That's for DMA timing, not the EE unit overall.

When I was testing it at first I thought it was the SVN that mattered before I noticed I'd had that one setting different Smile I wonder if this is the only case where this has caused issues.
