I cannot make it work. I am a big fan of the WRC games on PS2 but they all have problems. WRC II is the worst while WRC3 has a graphical glitch when fog is present.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

The problem is actually minor, it's just the fog appears as a wall in vertical lines. I want to do a video series on it because I've loved this game for long, I still have the original copy bought in December 2003.

It includes all default plugins. You don't need to remove 1.4.0. Most games will be better in v1.5.0, but there can be a few games that have less issues with 1.4.0.

It will work for both games. It isn't strange that games behave very differently because it's an emulator. It really depends on how a game is programmed. Some developers use very dirty tricks to get a desired result and those can be slow or difficult to emulate. It's also worth noting that the TXRD2 issue is related to upscaling, and the PS2 was never meant to use upscaling.
