Wakeboarding Unleashed - Shaun Murray -> Doesn't work at all
#1
Hallo guys,

I would really love to play this awesome game again.

It would be superb if it could run in PCSX2.

The game is like Tony Hawk's but even better. If you don't know anything about this game, please check it out on YT:

However, I can't even get to the main menu.

The game crashes after the intro:

My PC Specs:

CPU: i5-6400@2,7 Ghz
RAM: 8 GB
Graphics: Nvidia 750GTX TI

Software:
OS: Windows 10 Education (like Pro / Enterprise)
PCSX2: 1.4.0

Non-default settings: Nope

I know there are other threads in this forum from the past with users reporting that wakeboarding doesn't work..

..but..

..this game is really, really good.  Is there really no way the dev team could investigate what's the issue with this?

The game is technically playable, but there are still many graphical errors. It's better for now to just play it on PS2. Wink

Are there any plans to get it running?

I own a PS2 and the game, but don't have a tv in my student hostel.

Hoped I could play it on my 24" monitor with PCSX2.

Sad news.

Can't you hook up your PS2 to the monitor?

It'll be many months, probably more than a year before this game will do justice to the console version.

You'd need to get a PS2/AV to HDMI converter.

No problem. Wink

Are there any recommendations model-wise?

i would pass if it would cost more than 60 bucks though.. As a student.. Later, when I have a decent job, I would like to purchase a good quality converter or an oldschool SONY Blacktron analog TV anyways for stuff like SNES, PS1 and PS2.

Emulation..is..well..emulation..

I'm not familiar with any specific models. I just check for reviews online before buying these things. The prices are between 5-20 bucks, so that shouldn't be an issue.
