We love katamari ? bug

I haven't seen this on the forums yet, or have not found it. In We love katamari, at times when completing a stage or pausing the game, the icon for items picked up will be a revolving slot ?. The controls will be locked, animation is still going.

This has happened on 2 different computers, using different builds of pcsx2.

Any help is appreciated.

i guess the game itself is not compatible with pcsx2

In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.

• Your hardware specs - CPU, Graphics Card, Memory, Operating System.
  
• The version of PCSX2 you are using.
  
• Any non default settings you are using.
  
• What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.

I have similar problem. We Love Katamari just freeze randomly. I think alt+tab may have some influence but I'm not sure.
Also I think it's freezes when I pause or at the end of stage.
System:
Windows 7 x64
AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.40 Ghz
AMD Radeon HD 7770
4GB Ram

PCSX2:
PCSX2 1.0.0 (r5350)

and I'm playing We Love Katamari from ISO.
