Weird issue with rogue galaxy

I began playing RG with PCSX2 today and noticed a difference between the ps2 and pcsx2. The dialouge box seems to be misaligned. It's really visible if you compare directly with the PS2 or on the first boss where the introduction text is a bit cut off. While on the PS2 there is plenty of space underneath it.

Is this the result of me activating a speedhack/HW hack or is it a common issue?

What is the CPU? GPU? GPU drivers up to date? Same effect on HW mode and SW mode? Speedhacks used? Also, do you have a screenshot of the problem?
