...Is it possible to get 100% frames on this system of mine?
Current specs:
Vista HomePrem. 32-bit
Core 2 Duo @2.60GHz
3GB RAM (not sure what kind)
I'm looking to buy a graphics card in September-ish. If possible, what card would I need to run PCSX2 well? I'm thinking about a GeForce 9800 or GTS - that's about what I expect my budget to be, I'm a cheap ass whore and all.
Currently running on integrated (oh god kill me now). I had PCSX2 running on it at about... 10FPS or so, in the BIOS at least. I believe I also got Front Mission 4 and Persona 3 to boot and play OPs but didn't get much further than that.

anything NOT GS (gts is best) should do fine. I have an 8600GT 512 with a 2.2 dual core and it's running ok

you're better off getting another PS2 most likely. depends on what you play. rpgs are fine, but stuff like need for speed, or wrestling games won't play fast at all. (9fps on wwe svr09 here)
(god of war is 60 for me, gow2 is about 50)

I think that the hd4770 is best deal in ati you can get for that cash, it can overclock a lot to a performance between 4850 and 4870, its cheaper and cooler than 4850 and uses less power something like less 30w.

Well, it is when comparing 8800GT/GTS.
But the GTS250's isn't as good as the 260GTX.
So, I'd say, get a 260GTX

Overclocked, it performs still under the 4850...
